Functional Skills
Our Functional Skills English and Maths courses aim to build on your current skills and to focus on the skills needed to help you succeed in everyday work and social situations. The English classes cover the core skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening. The Maths classes cover all the core skills you will need to further your career.
Maths Through Construction
Functional Skills maths qualifications are widely accepted as equal to GCSEs by employers, they are an adult numeracy skills qualification. Written specifically for construction, you will understand the relevance of functional Skills and be able to apply them in the workplace.
Employability
Our employability skills courses are designed to meet the needs of all learners no matter how old you are, the level of your skills and experience, or your career ambitions. We have the building blocks you need to help get into sustainable work and, once in place, to keep you there.
Bespoke Training
We can offer training courses that are customised to meet the requirements of your apprentiship, discipline, organisation or sector. We deliver these to suit your needs, whether that is online or in person. Examples include childcare and hairdressing, but we offer a wide range to suit you. About Me
Alan Smith, CEO
For the past two years, I have been self-employed, working as an associate and consultant for three colleges, specialising in all aspects of education. Currently, I support a diverse range of apprentices, including nurses, electricians, steel fixers, builders, insurance clerks, rail electricians, bricklayers, and early years practitioners. My focus is on equipping them with essential functional skills in English, Maths, and ICT, Prisoners and prison officers ensuring they have the foundational knowledge needed to excel in their respective fields.
